Prior to co-founding McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C., Mr. McConaughy worked in house for two insurers, Iowa National Mutual Insurance Company and USAA. He has held positions as Regional Claims Manager, Regional Vice President, Assistant Company Vice President of Claims, Senior Claims Attorney and Executive Director, Claims Managing Attorney, and AVP of Claims and Policy Service.
Ivan A. Sarkissian
Ivan A. Sarkissian, shareholder and co-founder of McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C., was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1997 and is admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts, United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Sarkissian received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in 1993 and attended the Tulane University School of Law obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, in 1997. While in law school, Mr. Sarkissian was an associate editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law.
Jessica C. Stieber
Jessica Stieber is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Colorado and Wyoming, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Stieber has successfully represented a variety of clients in complex civil litigation cases including construction defect, professional liability, product liability, mold, personal injury, fire, subrogation, and general commercial matters. She has counseled clients on transactional matters, in pre-litigation disputes, and has guided them through mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.

Kama McConaughy Sarkissian focuses her practice in all areas of family law. Ms. McConaughy Sarkissian has an extensive background in complex litigation, settlement negotiations, and appeals, having represented clients throughout the state of Colorado.
Stephen M. Johnson
Stephen M. Johnson serves in the capacity as Of Counsel with McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C. Mr. Johnson was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1984 and is admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake University in 1984.
Kate L. McDonald
Kate McDonald is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Colorado, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. McDonald’s practice involves civil litigation matters with a primary focus in the construction industry. She has successfully represented homeowners, developers, builders, contractors, subcontractors, and other construction professionals in cases involving construction defects, breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and mechanic’s liens/foreclosure actions. In addition, Ms. McDonald has handled several cases involving claims in personal injury, subrogation, employment law, and constitutional law.
