Ronald E. McConaughy
Prior to co-founding McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C., Mr. McConaughy worked in house for two insurers, Iowa National Mutual Insurance Company and USAA. He has held positions as Regional Claims Manager, Regional Vice President, Assistant Company Vice President of Claims, Senior Claims Attorney and Executive Director, Claims Managing Attorney, and AVP of Claims and Policy Service.
Ivan A. Sarkissian
Ivan A. Sarkissian, shareholder and co-founder of McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C., was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1997 and is admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts, United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the United States Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Sarkissian received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University in 1993 and attended the Tulane University School of Law obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, in 1997. While in law school, Mr. Sarkissian was an associate editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law.
Jessica C. Stieber
Jessica C. Stieber is a Shareholder with McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C. and handles a variety of complex civil litigation cases throughout Colorado and Wyoming including construction defect, general liability, professional liability, product liability, mold, fire, and subrogation as well as bond claims, liens, and general commercial matters. She represents a broad array of clients from sophisticated commercial entities to individuals in their first encounter with the legal system – guiding them through trial, arbitration, and appeal. Ms. Stieber also counsels clients on transactional matters and in pre-litigation disputes, using her litigation experience to help them manage and avoid risks which often lead to litigation.
Kate L. McDonald
Kate McDonald is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Colorado, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. McDonald’s practice involves civil litigation matters with a primary focus in the construction industry. She has successfully represented homeowners, developers, builders, contractors, subcontractors, and other construction professionals in cases involving construction defects, breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and mechanic’s liens/foreclosure actions. In addition, Ms. McDonald has handled several cases involving claims in personal injury, subrogation, employment law, and constitutional law.
Kama McConaughy Sarkissian
Kama McConaughy Sarkissian focuses her practice in all areas of family law. Ms. McConaughy Sarkissian has an extensive background in complex litigation, settlement negotiations, and appeals, having represented clients throughout the state of Colorado.
Stephen M. Johnson
Stephen M. Johnson serves in the capacity as Of Counsel with McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C. Mr. Johnson was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1984 and is admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin in 1980 and his ctor of Jurisprudence degree from Drake University in 1984.
David L. Murphy
David L. Murphy was admitted to practice law in Colorado in 1991 and is admitted to practice in all Colorado state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Philosophy from Colorado State University in 1987 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The University of Denver in 1991.
