Atilla Baksay is an Associate Attorney with McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C. His practice involves civil litigation with a focus on construction defect.
Prior to joining McConaughy & Sarkissian, Mr. Baksay practiced at the Office of the United States Trade Representative, specializing in tariff-related work and World Trade Organization litigation. During law school, he externed at the Executive Office of the President and the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, where he worked as a generalist in cases involving contracts, torts, employment, procurement, criminal procedure, ethics and alternative dispute resolution.
In 2015, Mr. Baksay graduated, cum laude, from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and European Studies, minoring in History and Anthropology. In 2018, he received his Juris Doctorate from the American University, Washington College of Law as well as a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the American University, School of International Service. During law school, he was a member of the American University International Law Review, as well as a recipient of the James Day Energy and Natural Resources Law Scholarship.
In his free time, Mr. Baksay likes to go on hikes on the many beautiful trails of Colorado.
